In the Spring of 2021, Artistic Directors Melinda Lee Masur & Ken-David Masur are pleased to present a brand new suite of Online Originals episodes featuring newly commissioned recordings by The Adam Birnbaum Trio, Opus Illuminate, and pianist Adam Golka.

Love Walked In— The Adam Birnbaum Trio

Full jazz set inspired by the journey of Birnbaum's year in 2020. Featuring original compositions by Birnbaum alongside works by George Gershwin, Wayne Shorter, Horace Silver, and Charles Mingus. Adam Birnbaum is joined by Rodney Green and David Wong for this inspired set!

Love Walked In— Opus Illuminate

Highlighting this chamber musician organization dedicated to performing works by composers from historically underrepresented communities and heritages. Featuring music by composers Hannah Ishizaki, Leaha Maria Villarreal, Aida Shirazi, and Kyle Rivera.

Love Walked In— Adam Golka

Composer and pianist Adam Golka will perform Nikolai Kapustin’s Concert Etude op. 40 #7, “Intermezzo" (1984), Grażyna Bacewicz’s Piano Sonata No. 2 (1953), and an original piece titled “Relevant Etude”.
